Fixed Deposit
Attractive rate of interest on fixed deposits
- Fixed deposit for more than 365 days will be accepted on monthly basis only.
- Senior citizens (persons above 60 years of age will be eligible) on depositing a minimum amount of Rs.10,000/- for more than 365 days.
- Fixed deposit of more than 365 days at simple rate of interest on quarterly basis and on term deposits of 365 days or less, the maturity date interest amount will be transferred to the savings account of the customer.
- Premature withdrawal will be deducted at 1% from the interest rate applicable for the specified period.
- Fixed deposits will be accepted mostly up to a maximum of 10 years.
